DEPARTMENT OF THEORY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND HUMANITRIEAN DISCIPLINES

Department of Theory of Physical Education and Humanitiean Disciplines Regulated by the Republic of Uzbekistan and  the Republic of Karakalpakstan It carries out its activities in accordance with the decrees, decisions, orders of the authorities, as well as the orders of the rector and director of the branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports and the decisions of the Academic Council.

The department was first established on January 16, 2021 as the Department of “Professional, Humanities and Natural Sciences.” In total

The department, which has 53 professors and teachers (including 16 in the state), was headed by Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology, Associate Professor Aysulu Elmuratova.

Starting from the 2021/2022 academic year, with the increase in the number of students in the branch, there is a need for professors and teachers to teach them. As a result, two new departments were opened on the basis of the department of “Professionalism, Humanities and Natural Sciences.” By the special order of the Director of the Nukus branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports dated September 20, 2021, it was reorganized into the Department of Theory of Physical Education and Humanities.

Currently, the department is headed by  (PhD), Associate Professor A.Elmuratova. The department has a total of 32 professors and teachers (including 8  main staff members).

It provides education to students of 17 educational programs in both social sciences. Among the professors and teachers are 2 doctors of sciences, professors, 5 PhDs and associate professors, the academic degree is 22%.

Professors and teachers of the department, along with teaching and educating students, effectively carry out their research and methodological work. Associate Professor A.Elmuratova and T.Arzımbetov wrote  textbook about “Sport” phsychologyı s, docent M.Aytımbetova ” Physical education and sports pedagogy,” T.Jumaniyazova and I.Xaytmetov ” Methods of conducting choreographic exercises “, ” Methods of teaching exercises in rhythmic gymnastics without objects »The textbooks have been published.
