  1. The activity of an industry psychologist relates to the field of educational services, is aimed at improving the quality and effectiveness of training, educating a harmoniously developed personality and creating optimal conditions for the comprehensive, harmonious, full-fledged psychological development of the student.
  2. The psychologist of the department provides opportunities for an individual approach to the individual, based on her behavior and mental activity of the student, age-related patterns of mental development, professional knowledge, features of interaction with schoolchildren and adults, peers, organization of the educational process, reveals his abilities, identifies possible causes of deviations from norms, ways of psychological and pedagogical correction.

The object of research and interaction of the activities of an industry psychologist are students, teachers and parents of higher educational institutions. They can be studied individually or in groups.

  1. The psychologist of the department carries out his activities in close contact with the deputy director for spiritual and educational work, the department, medical workers, individual commissions, parents and employees of the university.
  2. General management for the position of an industry psychologist is carried out by the deputy director for spirituality and education of a higher educational institution.
  3. The psychologist of the department directs all his activities to the development of a program that takes into account the age and rapid development of students, guaranteeing dynamic development, covering all aspects of their psyche, chosen as a goal.
  4. Directions of activity of an industry psychologist:

Psychoprophylaxis is a special type of activity of an industry psychologist, which consists in creating a healthy psychological environment for students and teachers and providing optimal conditions for their personal development.

The main objectives of psychological prevention are:

personality formation, creation of reasonable conditions for maintaining mental perfection;

timely prevention of psychological defects and disorders that may occur on the threshold of personal maturity and intellectual development;

work on the student’s adaptation to certain conditions, create special groups for social adaptation, to deal with neurotic conditions, work with students with special needs and their parents, group leader, performance, etc.);

participate in the process of admitting students to the first stage, determine the level of psychological readiness of their sectoral education system, develop a program of individual work with students in cooperation with professors and teachers;

direct participation in the psychological and pedagogical complex study of the transition of students from one level of education to another, psychological examination of the transition from one level to another in cooperation with students and parents, work with students for the purpose of training and education, living conditions, neurotic conditions, prevention of psychological stress, neurotic conditions, prevention of psychological stress;

organization of psychological consultations to determine the level of mental (intellectual) development in order to fully reflect the abilities, psychological qualities and characteristics of the student’s personality;

industry community – assistance in the formation of measures to eliminate, reduce psychological stress and fatigue among its members, their prevention;

create a scientifically based model in collaboration with professors and teachers, related to the industry’s prospects. Participate in the psychological and pedagogical diagnostics of the effectiveness of the educational process in the branch, make changes to it and ultimately serve to solve the problem of the harmonious development of students;

make adjustments to the educational process, taking into account the peculiarities of educational motives, the orientation of the personality, its orientation towards the values ​​associated with ethnoculture;

study the psychological roots of conflicts between the team, teachers, parents, family conflicts, analyze the motives that cause them, show the essence of interpersonal relationships, mitigate and completely eliminate emergency situations, give advice on emerging issues;

establish individual work with young people suffering from drug addiction, drugs, easy marriages, illegal enrichment;

refresh the psyche of seriously ill students and staff, acquaint them with the laws of eternity, give advice on how to abandon pessimism and live a life of gratitude;

identify and develop guidelines for identifying defects in the mental world of students with learning disabilities, as well as take into account the individual psychological characteristics of a person in need of corrective work;

identifying the possibility of self-government among university students (biorhythm, emotion, motivation, will, interest, attention, etc.).

to develop the skills of social adaptation of students, especially students living in dormitories and rented apartments, and to carry out psychological and pedagogical influences on solving their social problems;

identifying offenders with a propensity for delinquency and crime, directing them to socially active activities by stabilizing their mental state;

check the level of environmental, economic, political, ethno-psychological knowledge of employees and students of the branch and explore the possibility of strengthening independence and develop a system of measures to form a sense of patriotism in them;

Psychological analysis of the problem of distribution and effective use of free time among students from a socio-psychological point of view and ways of organizing free time in accordance with the goal, using them in the acquisition of ethno-psychological knowledge, spiritual values;

to identify among the students of the department a sense of saving public funds, to study the sense of thrift, protection of property, conduct a mass survey of unpleasant experiences among the population, develop measures to form their obligation to value work, build national pride, interethnic relations, and do their job;

creation of a scientific psychological program for the development of entrepreneurial abilities among employees and students of the branch, as well as an analysis of its share in the production of material goods;

organization of events aimed at strengthening the confidence of young people who have suffered from domestic violence in the future, involving them;

organization of psychological services aimed at protecting and helping young people who have suffered from domestic violence.

Psychodiagnostics is a psychodiagnostic study aimed at a deeper psychological and pedagogical study of students during the period of study, aimed at identifying their individual psychological characteristics, the causes of learning disabilities. Diagnostic work is carried out in groups or individually.

At the same time, a practical psychologist performs the following tasks:

In order to determine the compliance with the criteria for the development of adolescence, the psychologist conducts a psychological examination of the students of the department, determines their level. Diagnoses the aptitude of students, examines their personal qualities, willpower, emotions, self-management ability, intellectual level;

a psychologist studies the psychological characteristics of teachers and students, their interests, inclinations, abilities, etc., and provides some assistance in becoming a specialist and a mature personality.

researches students to explore their interactions with their peers. Adapts psychophysiological methods to specific conditions, taking into account the peculiarities of their ethnic culture.

together with other specialists in this field, conducts differential diagnostics, taking into account the variety of defects in the mental development of the student. Especially:

  1. a) determines the medical and defectological nature of defects;
  2. b) reveals the causes and forms of associative behavior;
  3. c) examines the socio-psychological roots of such problems as drug addiction, alcoholism, theft, nepotism among students, analyzes its factors;

Mental development and psycho-corrective work – the direction requires the psychologist to actively influence the process of forming the personality and intellect of students and teachers.

In this direction, the psychologist conducts the following specific work:

developmental and psycho-correctional work is organized by a psychologist in various forms, situations and situations:

  1. a) a special work of a practical psychologist is planned, classes that can be conducted separately with individual students.
  2. b) each student event will be held specifically to focus on the educational impact on student groups;
  3. c) training of parents in pedagogical teams in the form of educational activities with the participation of employees of the higher education system.

The psychological part of correctional activities, including developmental and psycho-correctional problems, is carried out by specialists.

the program of developmental and psycho-correctional work should be structured in such a way as to reflect the value orientations, ethno-psychological and ethno-cultural characteristics of the group of persons involved in correctional work; it is expedient to develop the program taking into account the people, ethno-nation, the history of the people, traditions, customs and traditions.

The psychologist of the department develops and implements a program for the gradual correction of defects in the mental development and behavior of students, as well as shortcomings. To do this, they conduct special classes, exercises to reduce distortions, conduct trainings to develop creative abilities.

Equip special rooms to prevent and reduce emotional stress (the room must meet international standards, have a remote control, display equipment, auto-training, social training, technical equipment, scientific methods).

remedial work should be carried out in a certain order, on the basis of scientific selection, at a particular session. In this case, one should take into account ethnicity, age, gender, individual typological characteristics, the degree of exposure of a person suffering from emotional stress: at the same time, the use of Japanese methods also makes it possible to collect the necessary information and relieve stress.

Within the framework of the psychologist service of the branch, a program is being developed and implemented for the gradual correction of defects and shortcomings in the mental development of students, behavioral and interpersonal relationships. To do this, he conducts special classes with them, conducts trainings to develop their creative abilities.

Psychological part of correctional activity is performed by psychologists. Developmental and correctional work is solved by a psychologist in various forms and situations:

Special individual work of an industry psychologist;

classes aimed at teaching a group of students;

conducting trainings in the form of educational activities with the participation of the teaching staff.

Psychological counseling (counseling) – is carried out by providing specific advice to all persons involved in the education and upbringing of students, including administration, faculty, parents, employees of public and public organizations.

In this direction, the psychologist conducts the following specific work:

 organization of individual, group, collective consultations on training, development, education, professional development and marriage, secrets of interaction, communication, relationships with peers and worldview, abilities, talents;

advising the administration on issues of interest to students and groups: preparing practical instructions for employees of the department on their activation, influencing them;

provide parents with scientific and practical recommendations on the peculiarities of the mental development of students, their formation as individuals, the state of relationships, including age, gender, individual typological characteristics of children;

collection of socio-psychological information on certification, social requirements and orders and their generalization, development of individual recommendations;

collect information about the needs, desires, interests of students, social views, positions, compatibility and attitude to life in the hostel and develop recommendations for their implementation;

study the advantages and disadvantages of traditional teaching methods, test the effectiveness of innovative, active methods, determine the attitude of students towards them and, on their basis, individualize learning, differentiate the educational department, give instructions;

Participate in the selection of gifted students, develop scientific psychological recommendations and, on the basis of this, participate in awarding scholarships to them;

  1. Methods for carrying out the activities of an industry psychologist can be as follows:

conducting a series of lectures and trainings with professors and teachers of the branch, students in order to grow and popularize psychological culture, and disseminate them;

creation of popular science literature;

conducting psychodiagnostic research, developing methods (tests, questionnaires, experiments, observations, interviews, etc.);

psychological counseling;

conducting psychological consultations.

  1. The work plan in this direction is approved and supervised by the Deputy Director for Spiritual and Educational Work.
  2. Duties of the department psychologist:

study of the ethical and psychological climate in the branch, its influence on the personality of the student;

conducting socio-psychological diagnostics to identify individual problems of students;

identification of students in need of social protection (all students);

protection of students in conditions of pressure from adults and individual work with them (individual conversations with students);

identification of children from dysfunctional families;

conduct individual counseling of students in difficult situations;

consulting parents, educators, administration and group trainers;

identification and prevention of behavioral disorders in students;

carrying out psychoprophylactic and corrective work with students in various cases;

to help the teaching staff to individualize the training of students, to instruct teachers in carrying out corrective work depending on the level of growth of their abilities and inclinations, which is especially important in this area of ​​psychological service – these students study delays (lagging behind), behavioral disorders, deterioration in learning ability;

Implementation of the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Training Program, decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis and the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of education and retraining of personnel.

  1. Individual responsibility of the department psychologist:

perform functional duties;

ensure full implementation of the approved work plan;

timely submit reports in the approved form;

accuracy of psychological diagnoses;

adequacy of diagnostic and correction methods;

work with students and their results;

soundness of recommendations;

filling and storage of checkpoints and other documents.

  1. Duties of the department psychologist:

record keeping in accordance with the Charter of the branch and the Code of Psychology;

participation in methodological seminars on the activities of psychologists of higher educational institutions;

reporting to the management of the branch on the work done;

an administration that ensures the confidentiality of personal information obtained during the consultation process;

  1. Rights of an industry psychologist:

participate in the meetings of the Branch Council;

participate in classes and extracurricular activities to observe student activities;

familiarity with pedagogical documents;

conducting group and individual psychological research in the branch;

participate in scientific and popular science publications in order to summarize their work experience, promote psychological and pedagogical knowledge;

receive training and extracurricular activities in accordance with their education and qualifications;

if necessary, apply to medical and defectological institutions;

submit issues related to the improvement of the educational process to the management of the higher educational institution;

participation in research work;

improve their professional qualifications based on their professional needs;

have favorable conditions for the organization of work;

get advice from the management of the branch;

development of guidelines for a unified approach to working with students at risk;

participates in lessons, lectures, extracurricular activities in order to monitor the behavior of teachers and students, the features of educational activities in the educational process;

attends meetings of coaches, parents and students;

conducts group and individual psychological experiments in the branch for the purpose of conducting scientific research;

Psychological specialization, in addition to basic knowledge, has the opportunity to teach and optionally teach in the pedagogical course 0.5;

requires higher organizations to create the necessary conditions for the successful performance of professional duties;

recommends to parents the methods of counseling services in the psychology of family life, if necessary;

the vacation period of a practicing psychologist is the same for all professors and teachers of the department;

  1. An industry psychologist should know:

The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the National Training Program, domestic and foreign policy of the state, the content of decrees, resolutions and orders on education and youth;

Awareness of the secrets of modern general psychology, that is, the psychological components of a comprehensively developed personality (cognitive, emotional, behavioral), psychological patterns, psychological mechanisms and psychological phenomena, individual psychological characteristics of cognitive processes in the personality structure, will-emotional states, modern theories of personality ;

psychology of youthful periods, i.e. from the classification of psychological periodization to peculiar psychological patterns, mechanisms and phenomena of adolescence, adolescence, students, youth, maturity, the inevitability of psychological, physiological and social factors of this period in-depth knowledge of the specific psychological characteristics of difficulties;

awareness of modern socio-psychological knowledge, i.e. the processes of psychological socialization, the classification of groups and their chronology, the value system of the individual in a particular activity, needs, motives, interests, worldviews, dreams and desires, social activity, responsibility, knowledge of duty, its components, aspects of collective cohesion, adaptation to the social environment ;

thorough knowledge of ethnopsychological knowledge, i.e. national character, system of national values, national customs and traditions, psychological portrait of the national image and mentality psychology;

To be aware of the innovations of domestic and foreign scientists that contribute to the psychological portrait of the concept of a harmonious personality;

Knowledge of modern methods of psychological assistance, psychoprophylaxis, psychological education and enlightenment, psychodiagnostics, mental development and psychocorrection and psychoconsultation;

knowledge of modern research and propaganda methods of educational psychology, psychological mechanisms of students’ orientation to educational activities, psycho-trainings that enhance learning motives;

knowledge of modern evidence-based research and advocacy methods is required.

  1. Qualification requirements for an industry psychologist:

Psychologist of the 1st category: a specialist with a master’s degree in the specialty must have at least 1 year of work experience as a psychologist of the 2nd category (master’s work experience in the specialty is not required);

Category 2 psychologist: bachelor or graduate in psychology, must have at least 2 years of experience as a psychologist.
