The “Aral” sports club of the Nukus branch of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports was founded in 2019.
The sports club was established as a legal entity in accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Non-Governmental Non-Commercial Organizations.”
The purpose and main tasks of the sports club are:
The purpose of the sports club is to promote physical culture and sports among students, pupils, teachers and other employees of state educational institutions, to create conditions for their regular physical education, as well as to select talented young people by further improving the system of extracurricular sports education of students and pupils.
Tasks of the sports club:
- formation of a healthy lifestyle among students and pupils, as well as wide promotion of physical culture and sports;
- organization of sports societies among students and pupils, identification of talented young athletes by organizing various sports competitions and mass physical culture events among them, in particular, competitions of the type “school league,” “student league”;
- in higher educational institutions – the selection (selection) of talented youth and the formation of national teams in sports, as well as the creation of a sports reserve in republican schools of higher sports mastery, as well as the organization of training sessions for sports sections in sports at least 6 hours a week for participation in sports competitions;
- attracting qualified coaches and specialists to conduct training in the process of physical culture and sports, as well as introducing best practices.
Rights and obligations of a sports club:
The sports club has the following rights:
- representation and protection of the rights and legitimate interests of its members and participants;
- to initiate issues of physical culture and sports in the territory where the sports club has been established, and to submit proposals to state authorities and administration;
- participation in the development of decisions of state authorities and administration bodies in the manner prescribed by law;
- dissemination of information about their activities;
- engage in entrepreneurial activity within the framework of the goals defined in the rules of their institution;
- hold meetings on issues related to their activities;
- provision of paid health services in the prescribed manner.
The sports club may have other rights stipulated by law.
The sports club is obliged to:
- compliance with legislation and constituent documents;
- ensuring the freedom of club members to access information about the use of their property and funds, as well as sources of financial support;
- coordination of events with the registering body and granting its representative free access to the events being held;
- timely notify the registering body about the organization of visits of representatives of the sports club to foreign countries related to the activities of the sports club.
Other duties may also be assigned to the sports club in accordance with the legislation.
