The head of the Department of Affairs of the Nukus branch of the Uzbekistan State University of Physical Education and Sports conducts his activities based on the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the decisions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the orders of the branch director.

The head of the works department is involved in the coordination and management of the tasks of the departments subordinate to the head of the works department according to the structure of the branch, strengthening the material and technical base of the branch, organizing beautification and landscaping works in the buildings around the branch.

Duties of the head of the works department:

In the implementation of the tasks specified in the decisions on education in the branch, organization of teaching with the help of modern technical means and making proposals to the director on the issues of small and capital repair of classrooms, auditoriums, educational laboratory rooms and organization of work;

Determining the need for the branch’s material resources and technical means, fuel and lubricants and making proposals to the director for procurement;

Development and implementation of measures to ensure labor safety, prevention of emergency situations, equipment and fire safety in the branch;

Organizing the development of a plan of measures for the preparation of branch buildings for the autumn-winter season and supervising its implementation;
Overseeing the branch’s reports on economic and administrative work and supervising the submission of reports to the relevant higher authorities within the specified periods;

Conducting oral admission of individuals and legal entities and considering appeals based on the schedule approved by the branch director;
